KIDS MINISTRY At Calvary Chapel

Children at Calvary Chapel are a number one priority. They are a present blessing and our future hope. We are thankful for all the children that God brings to the church and we’re prayerful that each one will come into a dynamic relationship with the Living God. To this end children experience safe, age appropriate environments where they can learn about Jesus. Our Children’s Ministry is going somewhere. We’re partnering with families, caregivers and guardians to lead children to Christ and to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus. Our vision for children is no different than our vision for adults. Our 1st—6th grade curriculum brings children through the entire Bible. We hope to have the best taught, most loved, effective in school and community children possible. All our children’s and teen workers are trained and background checked. We are serious about safety, security and spiritual growth. We have a wonderful team of committed, faithful and informed teachers for all our children’s ministries. We would love to have to have you and your family visit Calvary Chapel.

Here’s what to expect when visiting Calvary Chapel Kids for the first time:Find the Welcome table (it’s located differently in each location.) There someone will meet your family, they will help you check your child into our system.  From there we have children sit with their families for two songs, after which they are dismissed and go to age appropriate groups. Nursery and pre-school children can go directly to their group location. Somebody will help you with that. Once your school aged children are checked in they sit with their parent for two songs after which they are dismissed to age appropriate groups. Children will only be dismissed to a parent or guardian bringing the matching name tag you were given at check-in.  Be sure you know where to pick up your children, each location has a different pick-up spot. Your kids are going to love this! Upon checking in for the first time we will ask for the following personal information. (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone): – Parent / Guardian name(s) – Children’s names – Children’s Birthdate – Home address – Cell phone number – Any special instructions (Allergies, special needs) for your children

Before Service: Once your child is registered you can check-in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name, using phone number or name search, you and you r child will be given matching nametags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. After Service: After the service is complete, you return to where your child is dismissed (this is different in each location) and show your matching tag in order for them to be released to you. During the service: Pre-school children can go directly to their groups upon arrival, all children from elementary age up stay with their parents for two songs in the auditorium then they are prayed for and dismissed to go to their age appropriate classes and groups. IN the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and find and usher, safety person or volunteer that can direct you to your child’s location

A few of our locations have a Parent’s Viewing Room that is available for parents of infants that do not want to utilize our staffed nursery. The room is reserved exclusively for parents with to enjoy the service in a private and quiet environment.
